ORIGINAL COMMISSIONED OIL PAINTINGS ANNOUNCEMENT
That’s right, after more than a year I’ve gotten back into painting. My latest works can be found on my Fickr page or under Artwork on this website. But more importantly, I’m posting this to announcing that I’m open for business for any type of original commissioned oil paintings–including Pet Portraits. Email: richard@richardbeckham.com.
My most recent painting, “The Nature of Art,” will likely be my last work not done for commission–at least for a while. That is because I am focusing my painting exclusively on commissioned works of Pet/Human Portraits, Abstracts…you name it, I’ll fit your budget. Check out my Painting Services page for more details. And in the meantime try to imagine what your own customized work of art could do to enhance your wall space at home or in your office! Wink, wink.
Speaking of non-commissioned paintings, although it’s late notice, tonight I will be a Featured Artist at this year’s Spring Fest here in Magnolia in Seattle. There’s going to be a beer garden, live music, and an Art Walk with other local artists.
Some of my paintings will be displayed at Wish Upon Children’s Consignment from 6pm till 9pm, roughly, for only one night–as far as I know now. A few of my favorites that will be displayed are: The Genesis of Ego, A Glimpse of Heaven (which can be seen slightly in red on a cloud in the upper left), and Enchanted Beach.
